This article about an incredible series that lifts my mood. In high school; I read the book of Pride and Prejudice with my friends and watched the movie the first time I knew. I wanted to see UK from then on. I think I loved that spirit. Maybe I have met some familiar people from these characters in my life.
Time is sometimes like a little joke; like recurring events and disappointments we think we are not understood. Therefore, some times and fashion sense makes an unforgettable place. The Other Bennet Sister series was one such series for me. As I watched the event stream, when it happened, it felt like the character of the book, not like the audience in my favorite book.
The other Bennet Sister is a BBC series. This British period drama is based on the novel of the same name by Janice Hadlow. The continuation of Jane Austen's novel Pride and Prejudice, which is on everyone's list of unforgettable books, is another window. Mary Bennet, played by Ella Bruccoli; the Other Bennet Sister.
You may feel like you are turning a book page while watching the series. Mary; Bennet is not a prominent character among the sisters with different characteristics. Big sister Jane; she is beautiful, Lizzy is very intelligent; the other little sisters are also full of life, energetic. Mary thinks about her prominent feature and tries to turn to logic and science. I was so angry when I watched the show for their mother that I would really like to go into the series universe and hug Mary in the first chapters if I could. When bullying Mary with every detail, from her skin to her hair not taking shape, father;he is carefree. Unthinking... After the father dies, the situation gets worse. Mary is insisted to have two choices; marriage or misery. She chooses hope when she is tutoring his uncle and his wife to their children in London. Here he attends parties, makes friends, and finds love.
Of course, when her mother stops, she calls him right next to her, but Mary learns to stand up to her mother. The series universe has such beautiful spaces. I loved the places where they went on holiday to the Lake District with their uncle and aunt. Mr. Ryder and Tomas Hayward will laugh at these two characters. Mary's third choice, choosing hope; it was very nice for her to know herself and to marry by finding love. But in the last scene that struck me, Mary; even though she had reached the expectations of the society, she was now seeing the book Recommendations to Young Ladies on the table. So there is always a third option; without destroying itself among the expectations of society and family.
This was a 9/10 series for me. It only saddened me that the issue of cleanliness was so weak. What is called a bath; six sisters in a bathtub took turns bathing in the same water. Apart from that, a series you should definitely get on your watch list. Have you watched it?
